My disappointment with Nine -- not having seen it -- continues to grow. The Broadway revival production a couple of years ago was one of my top 4 or 5 theatre experiences ever. Completely, brutally cathartic, utterly primal -- it was a masterpiece. And from the sounds of things, the filmmakers have skimmed the surface off, tarted it up, and released it. Sad...
