Oscar watch 2005- Hotel Rwanda
Yesterday Ramona and I went to see Hotel Rwanda . This was one of the most moving films I've seen in a while. I really can't say much about it except that I thought it was brilliant. I know that Jamie Foxx will probably win, but if I had my way, Don Cheadle and Sophie Okonedo would receive those Oscar. I thought this performance was a lot more powerful.
I'm really glad that this movie has been made. While watching it, I felt a overwhelming feeling of guilt. It made me want to do more to help the world, and make it a better place.
This is a heavy movie, but it helps explain the situation in Rwanda to people who may not be familiar with it. It's also done with heart. I'm so glad I saw it.

I find that the older I get, the more questions I have. Here are 3 very basic questions because I need to learn more.
1. How do I sharpen my scissors? Do I use a knife sharpener or is it better to buy a new pair?
2. My roommate and I are planning a garden. Will raccoons want to dig up stuff and eat it? Can we prevent this?
3. I have an "olive" complexion and sometimes I look sort of grey (namely when I'm not feeling well.) What can I do to prevent this?

All the press for Keanu Reeves' new film "Constantine" is getting to me. Last night I had a dream that I was watching him in a movie and I was yelling, "Go mixed guy! Go!"
