I went to a great potluck yesterday. It was held at a fabulous loft in Vancouver. About 5 women showed up and we ate a variety of yummy vegetarian food and I tasted polenta for the first time. I now want to make something with polenta in it. Does anyone have any recipes?
Two of the girls at the potluck do aerial work. They had those long curtains that Cirque de Soleil performers use and were demonstrating some aerial work. It is incredibly beauitiful and looks like fun. One of the girls was amazingly good and could tie herself up and flip around.
This morning, I got to meet up with my cousin, who was passing through on her way home from China. We went for brunch and caught up a little. Now I'm preparing for my interview with Ruth Ozeki tomorrow. I'm a little bit excited, because hey, how often does a person get to interview the author of one of her favourite books?
I also have to get some interview clothes, because I have a job interview on Thursday.
