Bunch of little things...

Various things have happened, but nothing significant enough to warrant its own entry.
1. I got an 85% on my midterm, which I wrote when I was sick.
2. We made over $1000 at the Colouring Book Fundraiser, which also happened when I was sick.
3. Today I wrote an article about an experimental poet I like. Trying to write about a non accessible poet for a general audience hurt my brain and took me a really long time.
4. We had a staff meeting at Chapters, and I won a copy of the new Lemony Snicket book. My co-worker and I also yelled out, "They have lots of hot sex!" at the same time. This was our spontaneous reaction to books by Diana Gabaldon. It was amusing.
5. I finagled my way into reading at the Gung Haggis world poetry night in January.
6. On Sunday, we had book club and discussed The Meaning of Wife . As the group consisted of male and female married and non-married people, we had a good discussion around weddings, housecleaning, domesticity, children, duties, role of women and all sorts of juicy things. Next book for discussion is A short history of progress .
