I don't know that everyone has the layers and the need to be creative, but I think a lot of us do. And the relatively recent idea of blogs and widespread internet access has given a lot of us an outlet for this need that otherwise we wouldn't have. It's not a universally good thing, but I do think it has helped a lot of people (me included) in some way. Just because I write doesn't mean I expect people to read and/or enjoy what I have to say, but if something I put out there helps someone else, or connects with others, I'd say it's positive.

And it's definitely interesting to ponder.
