I'm not ready for my closeup
Tomorrow a photographer from the Vancouver Sun is coming over to take a picture of yours truly. True to form, I have managed to get zit on my forehead. Thank god it's not on my nose or something.
I'm getting my photo taken because I wrote a short column for Saturday's paper. Each week, the paper features a small column by a literary person in Vancouver called "Bedside table". The column is written in first person and it's short of a chatty discussion of what the person's been reading lately.
My roommate was wondering if the photographer would have to take a picture of my actual bedroom. If my bedroom were to appear in the paper in its natural state, my mother would disown me.
