A christmassy tale...
I was talking on the phone when the doorbell rang.
Me to my friend- "Just a second, there are kids at the door."
Kids- "Hello, can we sing a carol for you?"
Me- (Thinking they were evil little fundraisers) "Why?"
Kids- "Just for fun!"
They then sang "Jingle Bells". They were good singers and were so lively and cute that I couldn't help smiling. I don't think I've ever had random carollers before. I gave them some candy canes and wished them a Merry Christmas. It made my night.

It's funny to sing songs about snow when there is no snow where I live. Ok, it lightly snowed ONCE around 1976.
