(no subject)

I'm surprised by how upset I am with the results of the United States election. I never realized that it would have such an emotional impact on me. When I begin to analyze it, it makes sense, but I guess I never anticipated feeling the way that I do.

To try to make "positive effort for the greater good," I'm going to write some letters for Amnesty International today.

I'm the same as you - I had no clue how much this election would affect me. I've never been this passionate about politics (sad I know) and it's not even my country. I'm just really happy to be Canadian today.

As a good little Altern-American (ahem) I've never cared about mainstream politics, much. Four years ago I starting caring. I hope I haven't stopped caring.
