1. Today is World AIDS day.
2. Pierre Berton, an influential Canadian writer and broadcaster, died yesterday. He was 84 and had published 77 books(!). I have never read a Pierre Berton book. I need to change that.
3. I have to write a column about Iris Chang for the next edition of Ricepaper.

I loved Berton's The Secret World of Og when I was a kid. (And now.)

Apparently it was his favourite, too.
