Just do it!

Darren recently posted this excellent article about overcoming procrastination. . I'm not a bad procrastinator because I'd rather spend time doing something than thinking about it and causing myself extra stress. As someone who tries to freelance, I have to have excellent time management skills. My biggest problem seems to be not being able to prioritize. I'm also highly susceptible to burning myself out. Fortunately, these things were also mentioned in this article.

that article is really helpful - i'm a horrible procrastinator (witness how i spent the first two of five winter weeks doing nothing but think about how i needed to work on my thesis and prepare class lectures), but once i overcome the initial hurdles of getting into a project, i'm a good worker. his reward system is similar to the way i think about handling large chunks of reading and writing.
