I have decided that as of now, I will simply pretend that I live in the Republic of Commercial Drive, governed by Libby Davies. This will ease the pain of living with Harper.

What's your immigration policy like?

:)

Oh massage therapists are of the highest order in this Republic. As long as you promise not to frequent Starbucks and sign a contract stating you will listen to the CBC regularly, immigration is indeed possible. ;)

Deal!

No Starbucks, you say? How about a Canadian chain like Second Cup?

CBC Radio One was the first station to ever play my band's music, so they are always near and dear to my heart. (Also, I got the very nicest rejection letter from their radio drama division once...), so that is not a problem.

B.C. R.M.T. regs are different from Ontario's so I may need retraining of all things. Ontario's standard for education is 2300 hours, whereas B.C. requires 3000, so it depends on whether they 'd count my practical experience towards that or whether I'd need more courses, and to retest.

Gmajorette said, last night while discussing my screenwriting ambitions, [sarcasm]"If you *had* to move to Vancouver because you got a writing job, I *suppose* I could cope with moving there"[/sarcasm]

I am together with you in this pretending.
