Whee! Winnipeg!

I just found out yesterday that I am going to Winnipeg for work-related purposes. My coworker and I are being flown in and then we will get to meet with the Winnipeg staff. I've never been there, so I'm kind of excited. I've already emailed a few people to find out which neighbourhood I should go visit in my short time there.

in my mind, winnipeg is just like the interior of guy maddin's head. this idea delights me so much that i don't believe i'll ever risk actually visiting there.
