Cola is evil...

I'm actually at the Internet Cafe right now. All the Internet Cafe workers are taking naps. That's another thing I like about Asia. If you're tired at work, you can just go to sleep. If you did this in North America, you'd be canned.

My computer started malfunctioning last night. When I type "g" or "t", the two letters combine. When I type "h" or "y", the same thing happens. I just about started crying. I'm so sick of these stupid problems with this machine. I have a lot of work to do, plus two of my own writing projects to complete. So today, I'll be back at Magicnet, visiting my dear engineer. I should send this guy flowers when I leave.

Anyway, I discovered the hard way that I should not drink cola products. They make me jittery and sort of paranoid, and then I can't sleep. Coffee doesn't have this effect on me, but cola does.

Doki is coming by before 10 because we have to interview Buriad, the head of CUMIC (Central Union of Mongolian Industrial Coops.) Buriad is pretty cool and cracks me up. I'm going to take my camera and try to get some pictures of him, because the guy looks like a muppet. I don't mean this in a cruel way, but in a very complimentary way.

Cola is REALLY evil

I'm at the cafe again because I needed to check email in case I received details regarding my weekend trip. Nope.

Anyway, the engineers have determined that my keyboard problem is due to cola on my computer. Yesterday I opened a bottle of Pepsi, which exploded all over me, my computer and surrounding area.

So my baby is in the shop. They don't know if they can fix it.

I am so worried that I'm at a loss for words.

So the engineer thought he could fix my computer. He took it all apart, and managed to fix the keyboard problem. However, now there is a memory problem and he can't fix it.

I have to go back there with Doki tomorrow, so he can explain the problem to me. I just feel like ultimate shit. Fortunately, I will be able to do my work in Internet cafes, or on an old laptop that Ingrid has.

Had a meeting regarding our trip. We are leaving on Saturday morning at 7 a.m. It sounds like it should be a good time.

If my computer is completely unrepairable, I am FUCKED. I need a computer for the work that I do. Was going to write some stuff about Doki and some observations, but I'm too depressed now.
