It's a small world

When I started planting, one of the girls that I was planting with kept on staring at me, insisting that she'd seen me before. We found out that we were both living in Montreal at the same time, but went to different schools. Eventually, we pieced it together. She'd seen some photos of me because I'd posed for photographs for my friend Danielle. Danielle and Jen (the planter) were both in the same photography program at Dawson College, and Jen had recognized me from the photos.

In other small world news, Canadian idol contestant Theresa Sokyrka is the sister of one of my fellow planters.

I've come to the conclusion that I enjoy physical labour and working outside. I'm writing this post to remember myself about "woofing" (working on organic farms). I think I'd really enjoy it.

I went to see the third HP today. I really enjoyed it, and thought it was extremely faithful to the book. The visual effects were particularly stunning in this film. There were only a few things that bugged me, one of which was Ron's hair. WTF???

I leave tomorrow for about another month of planting. The break has been good for me. However, I also stressed myself a little by starting to plan for my move. I need to re-focus and get back into planting mode. I'm going up to plant in the Slave Lake area, and should be back in Saskatoon by the beginning of August.
