Sep. 20th, 2004 11:37 amI just finished writing an article about a very cool woman I interviewed. Last week, I met Saeko Usukawa, one of the editorial directors at Douglas and McIntyre publishing in Canada. She had a hand in editing and publishing many seminal Asian Canadian books including "The Jade Peony", "Disappearing Moon Cafe" and Paul Yee's "Saltwater City." It was a great interview, and she and I really hit it off.
