I hate my oven

I have been having a reoccuring problem with my oven. It cooks things on the top and bottom, but leaves things raw in the middle. I hate it when things looked burned on the outside, but undercooked in the middle. What can I do? I get very frustrated when things I make don't turn out.

Celebrity encounter

I met Bill Nighy and Scott Speedman today. Both of them were standing around talking in Chapters. I approached them and asked, "Excuse me, are you Bill Nighy and Scott Speedman?" They told me they were. Scott Speedman congratulated me for having a good eye. I told them that I liked their work, they shook my hand, and told me they were pleased to meet me. Both were extremely polite and nice. After I left them, I turned and walked into the side of the elevator. It was classic.

I found out that they are both in town to film "Underworld 2".

Queer as Folk party

Okay, this is a long way off, but I want to have a party when the new season of "Queer as Folk" starts. I've been catching up on the old seasons, but it's not the same watching it without [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. If you're in Vancouver and you watch it, please reply in the comments. We'll drink some sort of fabulous cocktail, and yell at the tv.
