I recently watched the episode of "Sex and the City" where Carrie works at Vogue. In one scene, Carrie and the pervy editor at Vogue are discussing how they celebrate finishing a piece. The pervy editor says that he buys something/ goes out to dinner. Carrie says that she buys a pair of new shoes.
Do you know how I celebrate? I usually stand up from the computer, go to the kitchen and have a cup of tea.
I like Sex and the City, but I'm constantly baffled as to how Carrie could write one column a week and live in New York. It boggles the mind.
