Cooking questions
Dec. 21st, 2005 10:01 am1. What's the difference between white and brown eggs? My roommates seem to prefer brown. I only use them in baking, so I'm unaware of the differences.
2. How important is a sifter? I got one, used it and it worked well. However, I can't clean it. I've soaked it, sprayed it and am now trying to take it apart. There are chunks of flour jammed in it and they won't come out. The whole thing maddens me, and I won't be using it in today's baking endeavour.
Last night at work I was forced to work the cash register for a while as there weren't enough cashiers. I had to ring up a copy of "Ricepaper" and "Giant Robot" for someone, which seriously made my evening.
