Sep. 15th, 2006 08:18 amRemember when I asked about Spike Lee movies? Well, kudos to whoever suggested that I watch "Bamboozled" (this may have been [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] I watched it on Wednesday night and thought that it was fantastic. It was creepy, macabre and satirical and I damn well enjoyed it.

Speaking of race related stuff, I am actively following "Survivor- Race War" er, Cook islands. I haven't been watching the show, but I have been following all the articles about the show. Mixedmediawatch.com and Angryasianman.com have been covering it and posting their ideas and insights. Yes, I did read about Jeff Probst's big realization that not all asians are alike. (Who knew???)

My dad, being the bush man type that he is, used to be a huge fan of Survivor. I'll have to ask him if he's still watching the show and what he thinks about this particular installment.
Sigh. Remember the good old days when we could all look at Ethan, the curly haired soccer player?
