It's all about the books (and the movies)
Dec. 18th, 2007 01:03 pmI wrote my year-end book columns and counted the number of books that I've read to date this year.
As of Dec. 18, the number is 158. This doesn't take into account re-reads, books that I started and didn't finish, and books that I read about bees (15, so far).
I've also signed up on goodreads.com, if you want to add me.
****
Yesterday I watched "Ratatouille". It had been highly recommended by friends and it was nominated for a Golden Globe. I tend to start watching things that have been nominated now, as I like to try to see as many of the Oscar noms before the date. I'd recommend Ratatouille. It's cute, clever and visually fun, and it's sure to appeal to foodies.

Other good things- I got an A- in corporate communications and got to cuddle a puppy at work. Someone in the press room brought a rottweiler/blue heeler puppy to work, and one of my coworkers brought him around the office to visit with everyone. He was really snuggly and cute and drooled all over the front of my sweater. I was in heaven.
