I have a very busy weekend. Tomorrow I have a few appointments and errands, then I'm off to attend an art auction. On Sunday I'll be doing my 10 km walk, and then I have another interview to do.

Since the snow is melting, I went out to my backyard to check on the gardening situation. I have no plot! Does anyone know if I can just pull some of the grass out and create my own? I feel very ignorant about this situation.
1. The Prestige- a bit long, but a great movie nonetheless. It's really about a rivalry between two magicians. It's directed by Chris Nolan, who in my opinion, is great at creating and maintaining mood and setting. Strong performances by Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale don't hurt either.
2. Shortbus- Not sure about this one. It's a movie starring Canadian Sook Yin Lee as a couples therapist who can't have an orgasm. Some scenes were bizarre, but others were just kind of weird. I think I've read too many books like this movie because I wasn't impressed.
3. Stick it- They should have just called this movie "let's look at hot girl's asses". Even though it was supposed to be a movie about gymnastics, it was an excuse to show limber girls wearing very little clothing. The plot wasn't much either. It's about a girl who is sentenced to go to gymnastics academy as a punishment. Mildly entertaining. I wasn't expecting much, so I was entertained. Fluff is fluff.
4. A chorus line- It's a movie about auditioning for a chorus line. Excellent. I loved the music, loved the songs and dancing and loved the horrible, horrible 80s fashion.
5. Casablanca- I'd seen this movie when I was about 14, but I watched it again and LOVED it. Loved Bogie, loved the dialogue, loved the mood and story. Simple, but brilliant.
