God it's hot. I went and looked at sundresses this morning, but couldn't find any I liked. They were all too flouncy, frilly, not cotton or were strange colours like baby pink. (shudder)

I did manage to buy my Tibetan ritual dagger, and found some cinnamon for Dorothy. Believe me, finding cinnamon or spices in this city is a big challenge.

I don't know if I've mentioned it, but Mongolian men pee EVERYWHERE. Sometimes I'm walking around downtown, and a guy in a suit will just walk by me, unzip, and start watering a tree. At first it was rather unsettling, but now it's commonplace.

The ancient warriors had these really cool sheaths that contained chopsticks and a sword. They still sell them here and I've been resisting the temptation to buy one. I think they're just too cool.

Toilets are a great invention. The pool of water immediately dilutes the urine, dramatically reducing the strength of the smell. This is not an accident.
