A somewhat embarassing confession

blue_lotus13I have this bizarre love for Sum 41. When I listen to them on my headphones, I dance around my apartment, playing wild air guitar.
I'm watching a Sum 41 special on MTV right now, and I've figured out why I like them so much. They remind me of hanging out with friends from high school because I used to have punk friends with the same kind of humour. If Sum 41 had gone to my high school, I probably would have hung out with them.
They remind me of my punk roots, playing guitar, hanging out in cars, going to the all ages clubs, moshing, drinking pop in parking lots, and watching skater boys.
