Good and bad....

I have cancelled my own going away party. I'm not feeling well. I'm dizzy, headachy and generally exhausted. This is not unusual. When I get stressed out, I tend to get a 24 hour bug, just to make myself slow down and take it easy. (I guess this would count as "bad".)
Good- Have remedied situation by telling people that I will meet them tomorrow night at the British embassy for drinks.
Bad- Problems with bank card, yet again. Finances are stressing me out. I seriously wish that D would hurry up and sell my car, leaving me free of a financial tie to him. I have realized that to sell it now, I'm going to have to sell it myself.
Good- Problems with money can be solved by changing American dollars into tugriks and paying the bill I need to pay that way.
Good- Some benevolent expat sold "The Order of the Phoenix" to the used bookstore in Mongolia. So I definitely have stuff to read on the plane.
Bad- The evil spammers have found my hotmail address. I never used to get spam, for one of two reasons-
1. My address is my full name, which is a very unusual name. As far as I know, no one else has my name.
2. I registered myself as an 80 year old, retired Egyptian who does not speak any English. This means that my MSN news is all centred around Arabic politics and entertainment, but that's fine with me.
