I started temping today at Industry Canada. I'm working reception and I'll be there for the next 3 weeks.
I often go into La Senza (Canadian lingerie store) to browse. Yesterday, I was looking at some of the more (um, how shall we say) "technologically advanced" bras. I have never had any cleavage issues; I quite like my own breasts and would not wish for them to be larger or smaller.
Anyway, I spotted some foamy looking lip things and asked the salesclerk what they were. She told me that they were airlifts for your breasts. Intrigued, I tried one of these airlift bras on. In general, the bra just pushed my breasts up and made them square. They didn't even look bigger, just higher and more like a shelf rather than my own cute breasts. When I poked them, they felt like styrofoam. The experiment was interesting, but unimpressive.

Yesterday my dad and I went to visit my great aunt. She's in her late 90s. I recently told my father that I would like to live to be 90, as long as my brain and body are still functioning adequately. My desire for a long life is purely selfish; I don't think that I have enough time to learn and experience everything I'd like to. Therefore, I'd like to have as much time as I can possibly get.
Anyway, Aunt Amelia is extremely sound and was able to tell us a variety of stories. Apparently, her grandmother died in a tragic accident, which no one in the family discussed until years later. I found out lots of good gossip, which Amelia said I was filing away for a future book. (She is right, of course).
Dad wanted to visit Amelia in preparation for his upcoming trip to France, where he intends to visit our ancestral village and unearth some of our heritage.
