Busy little bee
Oct. 26th, 2003 04:34 pmI've been incredibly productive this weekend. Yesterday I did a bunch of errands, then went into the NDP campaign office to work. However, I hadn't turned in my Yann Martel interview, which gave my editor a panic attack. He kept on calling my answering machine, and left several messages. I assured him that the story would be done by Sunday, and that I hadn't missed the deadline.
So I spent my Saturday night writing my Yann Martel story, along with an additional story about bookcrossing. Today, among other things, I also finished a book review, and sent a story off to a Canadian magazine called Maisonneuve (http://www.maisonneuve.org.)

It came to my attention yesterday that a cheese store in Saskatoon is offering a cheese class for thirty five dollars. I'm curious to know what would be taught in a cheese class. I'm sure you'd learn about different cheeses, and perhaps sample them. But would it really be worth $35?
