Soapboxgirls.com writer Lauren Bacon has written a tribute to the lovely Leroy on "Fame" (Gene Anthony Ray). Ray died recently, at the age of 41.

Anyone who was a "Fame" fan, as I was, will remember Leroy as the superstar dancer in the tights and mesh-tops.

I loved "Fame". It provided fodder for endless daydreams, and a feeling that there were other people out there who were as passionate about the arts.

Heh...
