Should I watch "Forrest Gump"?

As I've mentioned before, one of my projects is trying to watch all the Best pictures from present to the 30s or 40s. I've actually seen most of the ones from the 1990s. However, I have not watched "Forrest Gump", mainly because my father said it was really dumb.
