I've become completely obsessed with "Canadian idol". It's such a cheesy show, yet I can't stop watching. After watching last night, I strongly wished that Jason or Kaleb had been voted off. Josh has more heart and a more genuine quality than Jason, and I just want Jason to go. He reminds me of someone who should be singing in a small town Alberta bar.

In other news, I'm getting a hair cut today. I haven't had a haircut since April, which is the longest time I've ever gone in my adult life without putting scissors to my head.

I went to see "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle" yesterday. I felt I had to go because I wanted to support a mainstream movie that cast two Asian Americans as leads. I thought I would hate it, but I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. There were some scenes that were a little too gross and over the top for me, but I did find myself laughing a lot. Some of the dialogue was quite smart and I liked the way that some of the ethnic issues were addressed and handled. I liked the two main characters and hope that both Kal Penn and John Cho get more roles (and preferably "meatier" roles, heh).
