I've become completely obsessed with "Canadian idol". It's such a cheesy show, yet I can't stop watching. After watching last night, I strongly wished that Jason or Kaleb had been voted off. Josh has more heart and a more genuine quality than Jason, and I just want Jason to go. He reminds me of someone who should be singing in a small town Alberta bar.

In other news, I'm getting a hair cut today. I haven't had a haircut since April, which is the longest time I've ever gone in my adult life without putting scissors to my head.

Oh thank god, someone else is watching Canadian Idol. Jason really does need to go, he's just been doing the same thing week after week, and really while it probably does play well in small bars--it's not that novel or interesting. I thought Josh had honestly done a good job this last week, so I was sad to see him go.

jason is karaoke man. and that stupid running-in-place dance that he does annoys the hell out of me. i'm glad josh (aka ole gunnar solskjaer) went. at least shane tried something different. but it's theresa all the way. all. the. way. jacob's pretty cool too. very danny michel-esque. that said, i think kalan (aka hobbit) is gonna win. boo.

This season of Canadian Idol is MUCH better than the last one. I really like Kalan, Theresa, and Jacob. Who is your favorite?

They're my favourites as well, though I've been disappointed in Theresa the last few weeks, she doesn't seem to be picking the right songs.

They're my favourites as well. Theresa is also the local favourite, since she's from Saskatoon. Her sister planted with me, and my friend knows one of her other sisters.

Ben Mulroney (of E Talk tv), and son of former prime minister Brian Mulroney, hosts Canadian Idol. I don't know who Jian is.

jian was in moxy fruvous. then he became a tv star and had a lame entertainment show called >play. and for a while, i think he was hosting a show similar to american idol, but with indie artists.

That show was on CBC last season -- I think it was public broadcasting's answer to Canadian Idol but it never really got the hype or the viewership of the Idol juggernaut. I don't think they're doing it this year.

Jian really was laughable on Play, wasn't he? The man really loves to hear himself talk. Psst, Jian: no one is tuning in for your hair. Really.

I've tried watching Canadian Idol, but I just can't do it. Ben Mulroney makes me become violent and want to punch him in the face.
