Sep. 15th, 2004 05:04 pmWhen I originally saw the trailer for "Garden State", I thought it was a movie version of the novel, Garden State , by Rick Moody. I would have liked to see a movie based on that book, but I thought this one was pretty good anyway. I'll just mention another geeky, bookish observation. In one scene, you can see a copy of Sherman Alexie's Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven in the background.
( Contains some spoiler like details )
Anyway, I was glad that I saw it, I liked it and I did cry at the ending. If anyone has the soundtrack, I'll gladly trade you something for a burned copy.
