Musical drooling....

My tired Mastercard is getting a bit of a workout. I'm going to the Commodore to see Spearhead on Oct 27. So far, I'm going by myself. IF anyone who reads this journal is going, let me know. I love Spearhead so much, that I'm prepared to go alone, but it would be more fun to go with someone else.


Also, I just read that Le Tigre is coming to town on November 23. Is anyone a fan? I love them, and it would be a fabulous show.

Terry Gilliam is filming his new movie, Tideland , in Saskatchewan. In an interview in the newspaper today, he kept on talking about how Saskatchewan is cold and depressing.

My answer to Terry- Not all the time, Terry. We're the sunniest spot in Canada, and we have warm summers.

The movie will star Jennifer Tilly, Jeff Bridges and a bunch of other stars I don't really know.

I read the description of the book and it sounds like something I'd love... a dark, gothic fantasy.

In other movie news, I saw the trailer for Finding Neverland recently. Apparently my mother saw it too, as we had the following exchange over the phone.

Mom- "I saw the trailer for Finding Neverland."
Me- "Oh my god, I know. I nearly peed my pants."
Mom- "Johnny looks SO HOT in that movie."

Edited to add- Darren writes that Medicine Hat or Calgary are the sunniest spots in Canada.
