I'm currently reading four books at the same time. It's a bit of a long story.

Anyway, I recently read "The Thieves of Ostia", which is the first of the Roman Mysteries. This is a fantastic series for children, written by Caroline Lawrence. Lawrence is a scholar who studied ancient history. As a result, this series is full of historical details. I plan to check out the other books in the series. It's an easy way to learn more about ancient Rome, in a way that is fun and not boring.

I attempted to read "Tideland" by Mitch Cullin. I started reading it because it's going to be Terry Gilliam's next film. It's currently being filmed in Saskatchewan. However, I could not finish this book. It's a story of a young girl, Jeliza- Rose. The story is meant to be an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, but I found it both depressing and disturbing. In one scene, she has to cook up heroin for her father, and in another scene, her mother overdoses and dies. So I didn't finish the book, and I'm not sure if I want to see the movie.

If I'm red, you adore me
If I'm white, you ignore me
If I'm black, you abhor me
What am I?

My answer was "jelly beans." This was incorrect.

The correct answer is clouds .
