blue_lotus13I got hired by Northern Reforestation, which is the treeplanting company that I wanted to get hired by. So I'm going to go with them, and say adios to the first company. Northern has a great reputation, plus they really want good camp cohesion and I like the way they operate.
Northern advocates a training program which helps strengthen your wrists so you can prevent repetitive strain injury. I have to go pick up my new Theraband today, and begin my training program this week. I'm glad they take these kind of initiatives.
I will go to camp by bus on May 10. First camp is in northern Saskatchewan. We'll stay there for a few weeks, then drive to Slave Lake in northern Alberta. We'll get to take helicopters up north to the camp. Planting season will be done at the end of July.
