blue_lotus13I'm in Victoria right now. I took the ferry over here last night. Getting to the ferry was quite an adventure, as the sky train was shut down. Apparently there was an incident (anthrax scare)?? at the Vancity building on Main, so they had to close all the sky trains. In my haste to get to the bus station, I had to take a cab.
I was very ill with a cold, and I thought I was going to throw up while the bus was driving to the ferry. I sat in my seat, curled up in a ball, and willed the trip to end. I even thought about going back home. Once I got on the ferry and had some food, I was much better.
I got into Victoria at about 9:30 and promptly went to bed.
On Saturday, Mom and I went to see the Eternal Egypt exhibit at the Royal British Columbia. It was an excellent exhibit, but a little too crowded for both of us.
