I have a meeting today with the editorial director of Douglas and McIntyre. I interviewed her a few months ago, and today, I'm meeting with her so that we can discuss the process of book proposals. I feel very lucky, as she's taking time out of her busy schedule to meet with me. As I was saying to [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], I find it highly ironic that I can have meetings with the editorial director at D and M, and an executive producer at CBC, yet remain so glamourously underemployed.
