Oscar babble 2005- Ray

blue_lotus13So I watched "Ray" today, and as far as I'm concerned, Jamie Foxx is going to win that Oscar. The script wasn't perfect, it was a little clumsy, but Foxx was fantastic. I found the story interesting and admire what Charles did with his life. I also admire him for reading the screenplay (in Braille), and giving the greenlight to the project. The picture doesn't portray Charles in the best light. Sometimes he comes off as down right nasty and his heroin use and womanizing are not covered up.
I really wish that one of the women in this movie (Regina King, Kerry Washington and Sharon Warren) had received a best actress nomination. I also thought the little boy who played "Ray" as a child was fantastic. I hope they all get more work.
