Some news...

blue_lotus13So I emailed the travel agent and it turns out that the cheapest flight from Vancouver to Kaohsiung is $1569, which is really not bad. And it's on my favourite airline which is Malaysian airlines. I flew Malaysian airlines to Indonesia. They have great stewardesses, yummy food, a little thing where you can pick your movies, play video games and track the flight of the plane.
I also emailed Dave to see if I could possibly go to Taiwan in January. That way I could spend more time at home, live in a yoga centre for a while, and make some cash. I'm positive that the book store I worked last Christmas would hire me again. My cousin Nikki is also planning to go to Taiwan to teach English then, so it would be nice to head over with her.
Now I'm just waiting to hear back from him, which is sort of killing me as I'm the most impatient person in the world. Gah!!
Other lovely news- I have wonderful friends who have offered to let me come stay with them for a while if I want to relax and not be in Saskatoon. Sometims a person gets a reverse culture shock when they come home from a big trip like mine, so it's really nice to have that option.
