From now on, I want you to read the word "dance" on this blog as "DAWNce". It will make your reading of this blog much more enjoyable.

Anyway, what are your favourite movie musicals or movies featuring dance?

I love the closing credits of All of Me, with Steve Martin and Lilly Tomlin dancing in the mirror.

I am fond of a little old Gene Kelly/Frank Sinatra gem called On the Town. There are some scenes that would never get made now and it's a silly movie, but I love it.

Others: The Sound of Music, High Society (for an amazing Bing Crosby/Frank Sinatra duet, they almost never appeared in movies together), South Pacific.

I'm running out of thoughts and don't want to just go raid IMDB. Plus I need to work some more. Have you seen those?

The one on my mind lately, the Rajasthani dancer in the beginning of Latcho Drom.

L'Odysée d'Alice Trembley is a silly movie, but there's some really fun dance numbers in it.
