blue_lotus13My life has been a balancing act since I moved to Edmonton. My life has involved getting used to my new job, entering new freelance markets, meeting new people, getting involved in the city, taking care of my health, hanging with visiting family and friends, taking a class and being more physically active.
My own writing has fallen to the back burner a bit, but I'm pleased to say that I am still working in small fits and starts. I finished a short story a while ago, and revised another one. I've also finished the first draft of a series of poems called "Queen Bee."
I plan to do more writing today. The idea for a novel has also been bugging me. I'm sitting on it for a while, but I might start it again at some point. I feel the urge to write quite often lately, but I've been letting life get in the way a little bit right now.
