I finished my skiing lessons yesterday. They were incredibly helpful, and I've been trying to ski a couple of times a week. Since I've started skiing and dancing again, my sleep has been a bit better, and my body has been a lot less tense. I can feel muscles in my arms and back and I love how my body feels with an increase of exercise.
1. Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee- This HBO movie was spectacular. Very moving, excellent acting, excellent casting and a great historical representation. I would recommend this. I felt I learned more from watching this than I did from anything else I'd read.
2. In Bruges- Not my typical kind of movie, but I really liked this. It was mostly the script, and of course the excellent acting and location. I felt I had to watch it because it is up for an Oscar for Best Screenplay.
3. Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf? - Dear god, I'm afraid of Virginia Woolf. This was brilliantly scripted, and brilliantly acted and shot, but holy cats. I found this almost intolerable because of all the screaming and carrying on. I don't think I ever need to see this again. I found it very, very painful.
