We just had the BEST storm here. The rain came down in torrents. I'll just describe it by saying there is now a river running through the middle of my street. I was planning to go out tonight, but may just end up staying home, as I didn't want to finish the conclusion during a storm. I don't trust the power outlets here and knew I could give myself a hernia if the computer died while I was writing the conclusion.
Learned today that part of the reason that Tibet became such a stronghold of Buddhism was due to support from Mongolia.
Finished Neil Gaiman's "Stardust", which I really enjoyed. It had a great fairy tale quality, not unlike the "Princess Bride." I love Mr. Gaiman's simple, quite lush and descriptive style. I'm still tackling my Mongolian history book, and have started "Yoga self-taught", which was a gift from [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. I'm quite interested in yogic breathing now, I think I'm going to have to work on it when I get stressed. [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], I was thinking you might be interested in it as well. Would you like me to mail you a photocopy of those chapters?
