One of the stories that I want to submit to the anthology is missing a paragraph. I know what happens in that paragraph, but I went looking for the hard copy to see just what I'd written. I didn't find that particular story, but I found some other stories I'd written in high school and early university. I'm going to read them later today.
It's good to look at your old art. Yesterday I got nostalgic and was listening to my friend's first cd. It's really rough around the edges, but you can see some of the strengths and know that there's some talent there.
Anyway, I like it when I feel good about my stuff. Most of the time I just do it because I love it, because it means something to me and I enjoy it. When I look at something and think, "Hey, that's not bad," the whole process gets even better.
"Some people have hobbies. My grandmother has men. She's eighty years old and is still chasing them. If you have a penis, my grandmother will put you on a pedestal.
Since I'm the daughter of one of her daughters, I'm low on her foodchain."
