May. 25th, 2003 01:15 pmLivejournal was really screwing up today. I kept on logging in and getting transferred to other peoples' journals. Oh well.
Right now I'm making some tapes to take on the road with us next week. I made some for our last trip, but I find that dancier, happier music is better to listen to in the car. So I just taped some Bob Marley and now I'm taping some Madonna.
For some reasons, Mongolians really love ABBA. They also love a group called "Smokey". "Smokey" is either British or American, and they were the first rock group to come to Mongolia after it became independent.
I am also working on an essay about my father/travel for an anthology about Father/Daughter Travel and and relationships.

It's gorgeous out today so after this tape is done, I will go for a long walk. The sky is blue and it's sunny, so I should really be outside.
