Aug. 10th, 2003 06:06 pmToday I have been tired and sleepy. It's around 40 C, and the heat is stifling. I did manage to finish the final piece of my Mongolia project, which consisted of a chart of the 20 coops we visited. Other than that, I have been reading, and dozing. My sole excursion out of my house consisted of walking to the mall, where I visited a former co-worker, bought tea, and checked to see the yoga class schedule at Lululemon. Other than that, I dozed and read, and watched half of Ian Wright's "Pilot guides" on the Outdoor Life Network. By sheer coincidence, Ian was attending Naadam in Mongolia. I felt homesick.
In an ideal world, I would have spent today in a cool room, in a bed with clean sheets, a bowl of strawberries and a lover.
