Jan. 11th, 2004 09:29 amI've been having strange dreams. Last night I dreamed that I was auditioning to be a Much Music VJ. I failed miserably, and proved to be horribly unpopular with test audiences.
In another dream, I was attending the Olympics; once as a spectator, and another time as a poetry competitor. (I'm not sure what these means, all I know is that I was collecting a huge number of my poems for the Olympics).
I got to see "Big Fish" last night with my father. We both really liked it. I started crying near the end, which is rare for me. I almost never cry during movies. I loved the general themes of the movie, as well as the general strangeness of the storytelling sequences. Tim Burton has redeemed himself for me, especially after the crap that was "Planet of the Apes" ( I turned that movie off about 35 minutes in.)
I feel very dull lately. I'm not sure what my problem is, but I don't think I've even been having interesting thoughts.

(Special note- I am not a Jane Austen fan. I can't read her stuff, though I did like Ang Lee's movie "Sense and Sensibility."
