(no subject)

I can't wait until tonight, because by then, I will have finished my job interview. [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] is now in town! I got to see her last night and we made some plans for the week. On Wednesday, we will be going to see One Man Star Wars . We went to see "One man Lord of the Rings" at the Fringe in Saskatoon, and it was an enjoyable experience for both the fan and the superfan.

One man LOTR rings fans- Sir Ian Mckellan attended a performance and loved it. He's in town filming a movie.

Mediocre movie year

Darren mentioned that it's been a lousy year for movies and listed some of his favourites from the year.

Here are the movies that I believe are worth at least an 8 out of 10-

1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
2. The Corporation
3. Hero
4. Dirty Pretty Things
5. Mean Girls
6. Mystic River
7. Pieces of April

(Apologies if one of these movies was released last year. I forget things, you know.)

I'm not joking.

There's a new cologne for men called "Hummer". It's manufactured by the same people who make the cars, but the very name "Hummer" brings a myriad of nasty images to my head. Here's an article written about the cologne.

Here are some phrases that popped into my head when I heard about this cologne-

"My girlfriend gave me some Hummer for Christmas."
"Wow, what a nice scent? Is that Hummer?"
