Celebrity sighting
May. 15th, 2005 09:08 pmThis is funny because I was just complaining yesterday that I haven't had a celebrity sighting for a while. I was standing on the first floor when a guy in a ball cap leaned over as he was going up the escalator. "Hey," he said, "Do you sell the New York Times?" He wasn't rude, just asking me for help. I gave him the answer and noticed his really nice brown/green eyes. Then I realized who it was. It was Mr. American Pie himself- Jason Biggs. He was wearing a ball cap, jeans and a jean jacket and was being very affectionate with a small brunette. He had longish hair and a bit of scruff going on. He's not too tall, and is quite cute, in an attainable sort of way. As the store was busy, I didn't get to stalk, er, talk to him, but he and his ladyfriend just browsed the travel section and then left the store. He's in town to film a movie called "Antarctica."
Apparently he'd been in the store about 3 weeks ago, and had chatted with some of the cashiers. He was looking for a book on or about saffron. (For some reason, I think that's funny).
On Friday, the movie "Whisper" was filming at the Vancouver Art gallery. It stars someone Holloway from "Lost", which I don't watch so I can't comment on who it is. The Vancouver Art gallery was decorated with fake snow made out of felt and soap foam. Oh, that movie magic.
