A few years ago, I began waxing nostalgic for a certain Barbie game that I played at a babysitter's when I was in elementary school. In the game, Ken would call Barbie (the player). He would tell you where you were going, and you would have a certain amount of time to go shopping and get dressed and back in time so that he could take you on a date. The game had really cheesy graphics and horrible music. However, since it was so horribly sexist and strange, I really wanted to find it. After a certain amount of googling, B* was able to find a link to a description and screen shots of this particular game! I recommend reading this website description of the game in question, as it's funnier than anything I could write about it.

I might even download the game and play it, just to amuse myself.

While reading a depressing article about the closing of Women in Print British Columbia's only women's book store, I came up with an idea for an article, which has already been accepted by Herizons . I'm going to write a short article about women's bookstores in Canada.

Oh, and my article about women and tattoos should be coming out soon. That issue goes to press in a few days. I'm excited.
