Bad news- There's a blizzard outside.
Good news- I don't have to go anywhere today.
I just finished watching "American Splendor". I liked it and thought it was fairly well done, even though I found parts of it somewhat depressing. I think I related to Harvey Pekar a little too much, which I found odd. I loved the interspersing with the real Harvey Pekar and real life characters as well. I'd say this is a "must see" for any fan of comic books.
In book news, I recently read Sherman Alexie's "Ten Little Indians", which I loved. I'm currently reading a fascinating book by Victoria Finlay called "Colour- Travels through the Paintbox". It's a great book about the history of colours, dyes and paints. The author travels around the world in search of these dyes and the histories surrounding them. It's about 400 pages long, but it's got something for everyone- travel, history, art history, mythology. I borrowed it from [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com].
Yesterday I finished a short story, and I'm revising another one today.
